Michael L.
Gualtieri - Founder & CEO
Michael Gualtieri, has
over a decade of
experience working with Linux, Open Source Software, and related
business models. He also has an extensive technical background
working with operating systems and security issues.
Mr. Gualtieri created the concept for Kiddix, as well as the early
prototype in 2005. He has recruited an experienced team and plans and
supervises all product
development and business strategy. Prior to founding Kiddix, Mr.
Gualtieri held project
management, system security, and marketing research positions at
Honeywell Inc. and MedcoHealth. He holds an MBA from the Katz Graduate
School of Business, University of Pittsburgh, an MS in computer science
from the University of Pittsburgh, and graduated cum laude with a BS in
computer science from Seton Hall University. |

Elida Laski, M.Ed. - Developmental Specialist
Elida Laski is an Assistant Professor of Education at Boston College
where she teaches courses about child development research and its
applications. Her research investigates the relation between
physical/virtual materials and cognitive development. Prior to earning
her PhD, she obtained a Masters in Early Childhood Education and worked
as a classroom teacher and literacy coach in public schools for 5
years. She holds teaching certifications in both Massachusetts and
California and a Reading Specialist certification. She has presented
her work at numerous educational and psychology conferences.
